Nursery Teacher and Director
Hello, I am Sophie and I am 28 years of age. I was born and raised in London, England where I trained for 3 years to become a Primary School teacher. I have been passionate about the care and education of Children for many years and believe a calling upon my life to work with these children. In 2010 I married my wonderful husband Greg, and 18 months later moved to Harare, Zimbabwe to work with One Way Ministries International. My grandparents lived in Zimbabwe for 13 years, and my father was born here, leaving me with a sense of belonging and feeling like I am home whilst I am here. We have two wonderful children, Jack and Abigail. God Bless x

Hi, I’m Greg. I grew up in the countryside in England and moved to London when I left school to train to be a primary school teacher. It was in London during my training that I met a young lady very passionate about Zimbabwe who I married in July 2010. In August 2012 after 3 years teaching experience in England, Sophie and I moved to Harare to set up One Way Pre School. I love being a teacher and I believe it is my calling from God. My hobbies include playing and watching sports, cooking and eating my wife’s baking.

My name is Lorraine Machingura. I am 34 years old, married and have 4 beautiful girls. I am a social, ever smiling and God fearing person. I like travelling, discovering new places, different cultures and how people do things differently in other countries. I did my primary and secondary schooling at Masiyarwa. I love kids with a passion and have been working with them for the last 9 years. I have been a pre-school teacher for 6 of those. I love my job very much. I don’t think there is anything else as exciting as teaching pre-school!

I also love cooking and baking cakes. My favourite food is rice and stewed chicken. I am a single mother with one child; Sheron who is married to Martin. I also have one grandchild called Allen. My advice is to give your child the best early learning foundation which is at One Way Pre School.
